Has Pregnant Kate Middleton Just Dropped The Biggest Hint Yet That She’s Having A Baby Girl?

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has kept quiet about the gender of the second royal baby but new reports suggest she’s having a little princess…

They’ve kept schtum about whether they’re expecting a future prince or princess.

But pregnant Kate Middleton, 33, and her husband Prince William, 32, could well be having a little girl if new reports are to be believed.

Oxford interior design company Annie Sloan has sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge samples of pink paint for the baby’s bedroom, according to the Daily Mail.

The royal couple are testing out three ‘decidedly feminine’ shades for the walls of their family home in Anmer Hall, but more specifically, for their future child’s nursery.

The samples, priced at £6.45 for 100ml, include the shade Henrietta - a ‘beautiful rich complex pink with a hint of lilac.’

Luckily for Kate and Wills, it’s an ‘interesting colour’ without being too 'cupcake'. PHEW – we don’t want those royal walls having even a whiff of cupcake pink!

They’re also trialling the shade Antoinette, a ‘soft pale pink with a hint of brown’ and Emile, a ‘warm soft aubergine colour with pink red undertones.’

If the Duke and Duchess are keen on one or more of the shades, they’ve got to fork out £18.95 for a one-litre pot, so let’s hope the baby’s nursery is small and intimate.

The couple have yet to confirm the gender of their second child, which is due ‘mid-to-end of April’, but speculation has been rife that Catherine is expecting a little girl due to her ‘fuller face’ as well as unconfirmed reports she’s been shopping for baby girl clothes.

She's also been indulging in sweets and cakes as she's 'addicted to sugary treats' - another sign that she's expecting a girl.

And bookmakers William Hill recently said that more than two thirds of bets taken on the royal baby have been for a girl, with a princess the favourite at 8/11 compared to a boy (evens).

“When George was born, we saw similar levels of interest in the baby being a girl based on a misguided belief that Kate had accidentally let the cat out of the bag,” said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

“This time around, the gamble is more organic and has no basis in anything that has been reported. We think this gamble could be correct.”

Bookmakers Ladbrokes have also suggested that 18-month-old Prince George could soon have a little sister, with a girl being the favourite at 4/5, as opposed to a boy (11/10).
