Pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge Puts Rumours To Rest And Reveals Due Date (Well, Sort Of)

Pregnant Kate Middleton has finally divulged when her second child is expected to arrive

Since announcing her pregnancy in September, the Duchess of Cambridge has kept her actual due date under wraps with the public calculating that Kate’s second baby is expected to arrive any time in April.

Clarence House confirmed the rumours, but has never given an indication of when exactly the baby is expected to arrive.

And while the Duchess still hasn’t confirmed an exact date, she’s revealed that baby number two is due to put in an appearance AFTER Easter in “mid-to-end of April”.

Speaking to a volunteer at the Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich yesterday, Kate gave away the due date of her second baby.

The 33-year-old spoke to Christie Osborne about her pregnancy and upcoming birth.

“I told her she is beautiful and that she’s got a tiny little bump,” said Christie, the Huffington Post reported. “I asked when her baby is due and she said mid-to-end of April.”

After suffering from Hyperemisis Gravidarum last August, it was thought that Kate might deliver her second child as soon as March and bookmakers Paddy Power revealed they had plenty of bets put on the royal bub arriving sooner than previously expected.

But we can all breathe a sigh of relief as we now know when he or she will arrive. Although most babies never are born when they’re supposed to be…

A late April birth could mean that Kate and Wills' second child is born on St. George's Day (April 23), the Queen's birthday (April 21) or the couple's fourth wedding anniversay (April 29).

Decked out in a blue and white ASOS maternity dress for the public appearance, which sold out on the popular online store almost immediately, Kate certainly looked like she’s nearing the birth.

The patterned print of her dress definitely didn’t deter from her blossoming bump.

Despite Kate’s pregnancy being the main talking point of the event, Prince George wasn’t forgotten. And one gift in particular hinted at what development stage the 19-month-old royal is at.

Kate was showered with gifts for her firstborn, including Elmer the Patchwork Elephant book, a colour-sorting clock and a potty training book. “Oh that’s perfect, we will certainly be needing that,” laughed Kate.
