Prince William Gushes Over “Little Monkey” George And “Joy Of Heaven” Charlotte - And Praises Kate’s Mothering Skills

The dad of two has opened up about life with a young family as he finishes his paternity leave and starts a new job

Prince William may be a royal, but when it comes to parenting he’s just a normal guy attempting to juggle a career with his dad duties.

It’s only been a couple of months since Princess Charlotte was born, but Wills is already back from his paternity leave.

He hasn’t only resumed his royal duties, but has started a brand spanking new job as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance – a job he says will keep him “grounded” and will help him remain a “good guy.”

Despite his busy schedule (he’ll be working long shifts on a rota of four days on, four days off) the dad of two says he enjoys the challenge of a full-on career, his royal duties and spending time with his young family but admits that it does take its toll.

“It is a lot more responsibility looking after two little ones, especially when George is around because he’s a little monkey,” says Prince William. He calls Charlotte a “little joy of heaven” and commended Kate on the “incredible job” she’s doing as a mum and says he’s “very proud of her”. Aw.

The Prince also seemed to be hinting that he and Kate would continue to expand their family.

Responding to the question from reporters of whether they would have another child, Wills said, “We’ve only just had the second one. But you never know what is going to happen in the future.”

Just last week, Kensington Palace released a series of snapshots from Princess Charlotte’s christening, taken by high-profile photographer Mario Testino. The four photos feature all of Charlotte’s immediate family, with the exception of Prince Harry who is currently in Africa.

It’s the first time we’ve seen William, Kate, George and Charlotte out and about as a foursome, but we’re holding out hope that the whole family will reconvene for George’s birthday bash on July 22.

No plans for the tot’s big day have been revealed, so it’s unclear whether the family will celebrate with a modest affair, like the tea party they threw for his first birthday, or go all out. Watch this space…
