September could see Kate hitting the headlines again when she makes an uncharacteristic move away from royal protocol in relation to her children. She will be criticised in some quarters and there will be those who seek to unsettle her but she will emerge from this minor hurdle demonstrating her usual professionalism.

Her independent nature is set to grab the spotlight and further illustrate her determination to be seen as a modern individual in the somewhat stuffy realm of the monarchy.
