Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Are Finally On Twitter And Instagram

They're a little late but Kate and William have at last set up their own Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be tweeting and Instagramming from the @kensingtonroyal account and they've already got over 100K followers.

Kensington Palace, the official name of the account, will be providing updates on what the royal couple and Prince Harry are up to including upcoming appearances and snaps from their many royal visits.

Their first Instagram snap, posted yesterday morning, was an arty shot of St. James' Palace with the unmistakeable glow of the X-Pro II filter - they're learning quickly about this Instagram malarkey.

Their first tweet was simple and to the point, much like the royal couple themselves:

No word on whether or not Kate, William or Harry will actually be sending any tweets themselves or posting any candid snaps but that didn't stop us imagining the kinds of things the Duchess might be posting in the near future...
