Kardashian Makeover: Using Contouring And Kylie Jenner Lip Techniques

Because who wouldn't want to look like a woman of sex tape and 10,000 selfie fame?

Love or hate - Kim Kardashian and her many sisters have inspired the world's deep, deeeeep fascination for years.

When it comes to beauty, we've been trying to perfect Kim Kardashian's magical facial contouring for ages, but currently, we are OBSSESSED with Kylie Jenner's lips.

How are they SO massive all of a sudden?

Has she really had fillers, as the gossip would have us believe, or is it all just down to clever make-up artistry?

In the spirit of investigating these things thoroughly, we decided on a great challenge.

We brought in two tip-top hair and make-up specialists, gave them a small room and a journalist to play with and tasked them with creating the full Kardashian-Jenner look in just ONE hour.

Make-up: Lucinda Worth

Hair: Holly Rose Hawgood of Easton Regal

It's fair to say they were successful - WATCH the sped-up version of the makeover above.

Contouring:

Lucinda explained that you should contour using a foundation product that is two shades darker than your skin tone.

And you should highlight using a product that is two shades lighter.

The key, of course, is in the careful blending!

The products she used:

Bobbi Brown skin foundation stick - £29

M.A.C Cosmetics Prep + Prime Highlighter - Light Boost - £18.50

NARS Cosmetics Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder - £26

The Lips:

She explains the technique pretty well in the video.

Here are the products:

M.A C. Cosmetics Cremestick Liner - Pink treat - £12.50

Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat - Iconic Nude - £16

Hair:

As this makeover was more about the face, Holly was super-duper speedy with Sophie's hair. But still, the results were INCREDIBLE.

As Sophie's hair is relatively thin, we were expecting her to have to use clip-ins to give it more volume, but she didn't!

She used plenty of dry shampoo and spray, she tonged it from the roots using Babyliss large barel tongs and then pinned the tight curls to sophie's head while the make-up was being done.

Then, once she'd let out all the hair, she backcombed it A LOT at the roots.

Products:

Vo5 Plump It Up dry shampoo - £3.59

Elnett Satin lumiere supreme hairspray - £6.60
