Diane von Furstenberg is president of the CFDA, which is a collection of 400 members of the US fashion elite.

Being a massive fan of the designer, it was fitting that Hilary Clinton presented Oscar de la Renta with the Eleanor Lambert Founders Award. And Vera Wang received the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented by fellow designer Ralph Lauren.
