MAC’s Cinderella Collection Sold Out Instantly But You Can Still Be A Princess
Red Carpet Manicure and Morgan Taylor both have Cinderella-inspired beauty collections so you can channel your inner Cinders without breaking the bank
When we heard that MAC was releasing a limited-edition Cinderella collection, we were ALL OVER it. Like, who doesn’t want a piece of Disney magic on their dressing table?
The soft colour-palette of pretty pinks, dusky nudes and pearly peaches was not only totally wearable, but also made the collection perfectly princess-like.
Plus, the baby-blue packaging coupled with the gold rim looked almost magical (MAC might even say, ‘magical enough to make all our Disney dreams come true!’)
And then today happened. The collection sold out instantly online – it’s been trending on Twitter since we woke up, with MAC addicts across the UK and over the pond revealing their heartache at being unable to snap up the make-up in time.
Not impressed the Mac Cinderella collection is already sold out😢💔

Literally, every single item has sold out on the brand's website in the UK and in the US. It’s insane. We haven’t seen hype around a MAC collection since the Rihanna collaboration, and that’s saying something.
If you thought you could just come home from work and have a little look online, you’d be so wrong right about now.
In fact, lipsticks from the range that retailed for $17.50 (£17 in the UK) are being sold on eBay for $75, a mere few hours later, while powders that retailed at £23.00 are now being sold at a 200 per cent increase (£70.00).
But don’t worry, there are a few other ways to get your Cinderella beauty fix without forking out an arm and a leg for a lippie shipped all the way over from Idaho.
To start with, Red Carpet Manicure has launched a six-piece gel nail polish collection in collaboration with the film.
Starting from £12.95, the shades include ‘Life Is Short, Wear A Tiara’ and ‘Fairy Tale Moment,’ so you can get sparkly talons magical enough for Lily James and co (although you do need an LED lamp for this one).
If you haven’t got a lamp, Morgan Taylor has also created a Cinderella-inspired nail collection. Prices start from £9.95 for a single nail polish or £15.95 for four mini shades.
Failing that, you could always just settle in for a night of Cinderella-style pampering with the original Disney DVD, or go and watch the new film at the cinema (it’s out in the UK on 13 March).
But if you’re adamant you’re going to get your hands on the MAC collection, beauty blogger Kirstie Saunders from The Yellow Brick Road has very helpfully labelled up the range below…
1. Lipstick - Free as a Butterfly
2. Lipstick - Royal Ball
3. Lipglass - Happily Ever After
4. Lipglass - Glass Slipper
