Style evolution:

Over the years the actress has gone from some frothy fashion faux pas right through to dramatic lace dresses that have won the fash pack over.

With the natural evolution most stars go through to eventually nail the right look for them, Amy has literally made all of her worst and best gown choices for us to see.

Among her list of most criticised moments, one of her biggest fashion disasters would have to be at The Academy Awards.

In 2009, her Carolina Herrera red strapless gown with black piping was a total eye sore that sadly did nothing for her figure.

Not a good look from the high fashion designer or for Amy, and if that wasn’t enough Amy followed through with some more harsh criticism in 2011 - opting for a chunky necklace paired over her sequin high neck dress for the red carpet.

But, it hasn’t all been questionable with her wardrobe, Amy has certainly picked some winners recently including at the Spring/Summer 13 New York Fashion Week shows in September 2012 in a Giambattista Valli sequin shift dress.

The actor slicked her hair back and added subtle metallic highlights and glossy lips for her makeup, which gave her the ultimate glow and the perfect look under the spotlight.

Plus, this year’s BAFTA’s lace pick was a great choice; highlighting her now honed talent to pick a red carpet winner.

The lace gown was a tad bit revealing but, with her hair up in a bun, Amy brought total sophistication to the dress and was the talk of the night.

Most likely to wear:
Elie Saab, Marchesa, Giambattista Valli and Carolina Herrera.
