Zara Phillips is more used to competing in Equestrian events than gracing red carpets.
But the Queen’s grand-daughter looked in her element as she posed for photographers at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards at the ExCeL centre in London last night.
Mrs Mike Tindall joined fellow Equestrian Team GB silver medallist Kristina Cook on the red carpet, both opting for chic LBD’s for the occasion.
Meanwhile, Olympic bronze medal swimmer Rebecca Adlington chose a Grecian style, black halter-neck gown for the ceremony, teaming it with a skinny waisted belt.
Olympic taekwondo gold medallist Jade Jones opted for a mini dress from the Victoria by Victoria Beckham AW12 collection, coupled with a pair of black peep toe heels and matching clutch.
Sarah Storey, who won gold in the individual cycling at the Paralympics this year, chose a black, flapper style gown for the SPOTY awards. She completed the look with black lace peep toes and studded clutch.
Ellie Simmonds, who set a new world record in the freestyle swimming at the Paralympics this year, swapped her swimming costume for a striking red skater style dress, teamed with nude patent court shoes and on-trend metallic clutch.
But it was gold-medal winning heptathlete Jessica Ennis who stole the show in a pillar box red Victoria Beckham gown. She completed the look with a black waist belt and oversized clutch.
