Wolf of Wall Street premiere: A sheer fail for Amy Willerton and Daisy Lowe while Leo DiCaprio comes out on top

With Leo DiCaprio on the red carpet you'd think these ladies would have made a little more effort

If we were going to walk the red carpet alongside Leonardo DiCaprio we’d want to look as gorgeous as possible.

Alas, the same can’t be said for some of the stars who turned out for the London premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street last night.

It was a who’s who of fashion faux pas in Leicester Square with leading man Leo the only one coming up trumps in the style stakes.

Amy Willerton, Daisy Lowe and Karren Brady all took the sheer trend a little too far while Margot Robbie and Leah Wood seemed to be doing their best impressions of Quality Street chocolates.

Apprentice judge Karren flashed the flesh in a revealing black Gucci jumpsuit, as seen on stars Blake Lively and Dita Von Teese.

Former I’m a Celebrity star Amy went high glam for the night in a floor length ombre sequin gown, which unfortunately gave fans a perfect view of her underwear.

Daisy Lowe went one step further showing off all her lingerie in a completely sheer Saint Laurent dress.

The model paired the daring dress with a Saint Laurent studded bag, ankle boots and a tuxedo jacket but she must’ve been a little chilly.

Leading lady Margot Robbie didn’t fare much better in a crimson Oscar de la Renta gown.

The tulip shaped skirt swamped the Aussie actress’ slender frame while the reams of satin aged the 23-year-old, who plays Leo DiCaprio's love interest in the new Martin Scorsese film.

Leah Wood also seemed to go for the ‘dress up as your favourite chocolate’ theme in a gold kimono-style wrap gown.

Not only was the slit in the oversized dress a little to wide, the model could definitely have benefitted from some kind of bra too.

Indeed, only Leo managed to save the day in a grey Giorgio Armani checked suit, grey tie and white shirt.

But Leo, we’re still not sold on that goatee – either go for a full beard or shave it off, please!
