Watch out for 'ArmaGAYddon' - Amusing LGBT Noise Video Heralds Marriage Equality March

Careful...the gays are marching.

A new video has emerged, courtesy of LGBT Noise, drawing attention to the prevailing prejudice against same sex marriage in Ireland.

Ahead of a march on City Hall, in the name of marriage equality, which will take place this Sunday, September 24, LGBT Noise have released this video, parodying the idea that legalising gay marriage will bring about the end of the world.

In a scene reminiscent of a zombie apocalypse, a couple shelter from oncoming gay frenzy, by barricading themselves into their home.

Taking into account the Western world, Ireland remains one of the least receptive places to same sex marriage. They are due to have a referendum in 2015 on the subject, but as many have pointed out, they lag behind the UK and even the US.

The satire pokes fun at the idea that the world will experience a dramatic change, should marriage equality materialise in Ireland.

As we've seen in other parts of the world, where same sex unions have been sanctioned, life goes on pretty much as normal for anyone the law doesn't relate to, and changes for the better in the case of anyone who it does.

If you're in Ireland on Sunday, and fancy joining in, the details of the march can be found here: March For Marriage.
