David and Victoria Beckham don matching outfits for high fashion dinner at LFW

The husband and wife duo took LFW by storm at a party thrown by the Global Fund and British Fashion Council, after Beckhams are named most stylish family

It's not the fist time we've seen a famous couple step out in matching outfits, but Victoria and David Beckham's fashion choice at the British Fashion Council's LFW party might be the most stylish.

In fact, it's not even the first time the power couple themselves have dressed in complementing outfits (who could forget the leather biker gear episode in the Beckham style evolution story?), but this is certainly a more grown up version.

Victoria has been experimenting with masculine tailoring recently, wearing culottes as the showed off her new collections at NYFW and again at a fashion dinner held by Vogue to celebrate LFW.

Victoria's outfit consisted of black trousers and low-cut blouse, with a tailored tuxedo jacket and black courts. David's suit was smart black with a crisp white shirt and black tie.

Their perfectly co-ordinated appearance at events such as this has seen the Beckhams voted 'Most Stylish Family', in a poll by Fabriah.com, no doubt helped by their Burberry model son Romeo, and mini style icon Harper.

One respondent summed up the thoughts of the nation, saying: “The Beckhams are amazing. They come across as a really down to earth family, despite being a very famous and rich one, and they always wear the most amazing clothes. I’m very jealous.”

David also showed off a new tattoo at the event, of his wife's name written on his hand. The loved up pair, who have been married since 1999, held hands as they posed for photographers on their way in to the party.

They joined the cream of the fashion crop for the stylish party, including designers Christopher Kane, Emilia Wickstead and Stella McCartney.
