Baby name website reveals celebrity baby names with most increase on the US Social Security register

Blue Ivy: Thanks to Jay-Z and Beyonce, the name Ivy has climbed 33 places on the list to become the most influential celebrity baby name.

Hattie: Tori Spelling’s 10-month-old daughter Hattie Margaret is thought to be behind the second most influential baby name and the second biggest climber - it saw a 242 per cent rise in hits on the site after she had her baby.

Emery: Aside from being a nail file, Emery is also the third most influential celebrity baby name. Normally used for boys, it’s jumped 195 places in the four years since Law and Order's Angie Harmon had her third daughter, Emery.

Flynn: The name Flynn has been searched for 181 per cent more since Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr and actor Orlando Bloom named their first son after the traditional Irish surname.

Levi: Not just a brand of jeans, Levi jumped into the top 100 baby names – and saw an 181 per cent increase in search queries - after actor Matthew McConaughey named his first son the biblical name.

Valentino: The Italian name entered the top 1000 for the first time four years ago when singer Ricky Martin named his son after the famous designer, and it’s seen an 176per cent increase in searches on the site in the last year alone.

Pearl: Bridesmaids actress Maya Rudolph could be behind the influence of the name Pearl, after she named her daughter that in 2005. But it’s not just us common folk that are influenced by celebrity baby names, as Jack Osbourne named his baby girl Pearl too this year.

Harlow: It entered the top baby names in 2009 – a year after Nicole Richie and Joel Madden named their first child after the surname. Since then, it’s climbed 280 places. We wonder if Sparrow will have the same effect…

Roman: Actresses Cate Blanchett and Debra Messing both named their sons Roman in 2004, and the name has climbed 81 places since then.

Vivienne: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twin daughter, named after Angie’s late mum, is thought to be behind the 148 place jump on the top baby names list.
