Tina Malone: Dramatic 11 Stone Weightloss Leaves Her With 'Bat Sleeves' And Saggy Tum

Tina Malone has lost an amazing 11st 4lbs after she had a gastric band fitted to help her get in optimum shape for IVF treatment.

After a successful pregnancy and the introduction of baby Flame into the world, though, the 51-year-old actress is unhappy with the condition of her body.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning the Shameless star explained that the dramatic weight loss came at a high price.

She may have whittled her body down to a tiny size 10, but apparently she still carries around with her a whopping 10lb of excess skin, concentrated in her midriff and upper arm area.

Speaking to the hosts of This Morning, Tina explained: "I've got the longest boobs in the world, I could tie them around my waist like a belt!"

"I haven't got bingo wings, I've got bat sleeves!" she continued.

Viewers were shown images of Tina looking noticably unhappy as she showed off the sagging skin around her waist.

Tina then revealed to television hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that she planned to go under the knife early next year, splashing out on an unbelievable £50,000 surgery to remove the unwanted flesh.

Her justification for this, she explained, was that her excess skin was undermining the success of her weightloss.

Instead of looking "the best [she] can look", she feels "depressed" because her body isn't in the condition that it should be.

She firmly denied that having the surgery is an attempt to appear more youthful, in order to keep toyboy Paul Chase - 19 years her junior - interested.

"I don't want to be Renee Zellweger, where you look like someone else, I'm not trying to recapture my youth. I just want to look the best I can be," she concluded.

Whatever her reasons, we hope Tina finds a way to feel good about herself, for she has achieved loads already!
