One of the best things about parenting has to be that you’re not alone. There are millions of other mums and dads out there attempting to master the art of the nappy change and figuring out how to explain the birds and the bees to their child.
And they’re talking about it too. There’s an endless stream of Twitter accounts filled with parenting fails, tips and tricks that make life as a parent a tiny bit easier – and much funnier. But with all of the accounts available, knowing who to follow isn't all that easy. Which is why Twitter's breakdown of 10 of the most popular parenting accounts is really useful...
1. Reasons My Son Is Crying
With over 40,000 followers, this Twitter account is one laugh after another. Pegged as ‘all the many completely logical reasons that children cry’, it’s a feed that all parents can relate to.
2. Made For Mums
The Twitter account for madeformums.com, this is a great one to follow if you’re after brilliant advice from both experts and mums.
3. A Mummy Too
Emily’s a mum and a food writer, so she’s got plenty of family friendly recipes on hand – as well as some hilarious parenting insights to share.

The description for this account is ‘Parenting with a glass of red and a cheeky smile’, which has us sold instantly. As Britmums editor, Helen Neale has plenty of fantastic tips to share with her followers.
5. The Reading Residence
As a mum of two, The Reading Residence boasts parenting tweets from family and lifestyle blogger Joceyln Reading.
6. Funny Is Family
Describing herself as a best-selling author and Oreo enthusiast, Amy Flory’s Twitter feed is full of brilliant one-liners about her children’s antics.
