Kate Middleton's love of high street fashion is just one of the reasons her style is championed by critics.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who regularly wears the likes of French Connection, Whistles and Reiss, can make items sell-out in minutes - but it seems not everyone likes the 'Kate effect.'
Stylist Caroline Issa has spoken out to say she fears Kate's love of LK Bennett footwear overshadows everything else they have to offer.
Speaking in a recent interview, the designer - who has created a capsule collection for the brand - said 'the Kate effect' is so powerful, it often means the public only focus on the court shoes that Kate favours.
She said: "LK Bennett is the classic go-to brand for quality, chic styles but sometimes I think the Kate Middleton effect overshadows what else they have on offer.
"So it's great to be able to offer something so fashion-forward."
Caroline's collection for the high street store which includes six shoe designs and two bags, is inspired by traditional Thai embroidery.
Being one of the most photographed fashion editors in the world, she knows a thing or two about style too - revealing some of her own secrets in the interview.
She told Grazia: "I dress from the feet upwards.
"I'd say my style is all about classics with a quirky twist, but I love a crazy, fun shoe - whether I'm in jeans or a cocktail dress, the shoes always come first."
She laughed: "You need a shoe for every mood, don't you?"
LK Bennett London by Caroline Issa lands in store from February 19.
