Simon Cowell's Baby Son Angers Passenger On Long-Haul Flight - And Simon Isn't Happy
Flying with a baby in tow is never easy – even if you’re a millionaire, apparently
Simon Cowell may be uber-famous and be able to afford to fly first class, but even he has to deal with regular parenting problems such as disgruntled passengers on flights.
The music mogul and his baby son Eric were treated to a lot of “sighing and tutting” from a fellow passenger, while flying from London to Miami yesterday – something that a lot of parents have been faced with.
Simon tweeted about the experience, writing, “Just arrived in Miami. The @British_Airways team were great. Eric travelled with us but one really really grumpy man complained. A lot!”

He continued with a second tweet, writing, “He asked to be moved. Complained to the staff. And there was a lot of sighing and tutting. The other passengers were amazing.”

Coping with an unsettled baby or young child on a flight is never fun for a parent – especially if other passengers refuse to be understanding.
After all, there are only so many ways that a tot can be calmed down and kept happy on a long journey.
Simon was also travelling with his partner, Lauren Silverman, who’s the mother of his one-year-old son.
The couple welcomed their son on Valentine’s Day last year and recently celebrated his first birthday alongside 100 friends and family members.
The family’s definitely well travelled, splitting their time between the UK and US, but that doesn’t mean Eric’s a fan of flying.
We reckon Simon should have taken inspiration from the parents who distributed goodie bags to passengers on their flight with their baby in December.
The couple gave out sweets, ear plugs and a sweet note ‘from’ their baby, Madeline, to all of the plane’s passengers to placate them. Genius.
