Rihanna worked the masculine trend in an oversized blazer at the annual Westfield Stratford City Christmas lights switch-on in London last night.
The Diamonds singer sported a blue, military style blazer from the Raf Simons Menswear collection for the ceremony, which she reportedly got paid £500,000 to attend.
Rihanna styled her Raf Simons oversized blazer with an unusual grey and navy blue striped top and trouser combination from Acne. She completed the look with a pair of grey suede kitten heels.
The star opted for a slick of black eyeliner, pillar-block red pout and styled her dark locks into a wavy do, complete with on-trend undercut.
Rihanna’s not the first celeb to rock the oversized blazer trend, with a number of celebs wearing the 80s style recently.
Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie sported a black, military style oversized Balmain blazer at an event in New York this year, styling the look with a pair of trusty black heels and killer red nails.
Meanwhile Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts rocked a plaid, lilac oversized blazer at the Mark Fast AW12 show at London Fashion Week, completing her outfit with a pair of matching plaid trousers and waisted belt.

As much as these stars look great in their oversized blazers, we think the trend might belong in the 80s where it started.
