We’re pretty excited by the news that after the success of her debut collection with Armani Jeans and Emporio Armani Underwear, Rihanna will once again be collaborating with the fashion house to produce a second line hitting stores worldwide sometime soon *squeals*
Rir-Ri’s first collection featured jeans, a zipped biker jacket and laid-back T-shirts – a fantastically wearable way to channel our favourite popstrel. But in true Rihanna fashion, she’s keeping us on our toes by injecting a little more of her personal style into the new range with some of the bras in the underwear range sporting glitter. Meanwhile, in the denim range, there's a fab pair of jeans lined with tartan – surely inspired by her McQ ensemble, non?! There is also a fabulous jumpsuit – perfect for pairing with towering heels and another look that features skinny jeans, a rock-chick inspired T-shirt and bag.
But not just content with the success of her collaboration with Armani, Rihanna has well and truly caught the design bug. Clad in a Tom Ford gown at the Met Ball on Monday night, Ri-Ri confirmed that she has something even more exciting up her sleeve. ‘I’m doing my own collection. I’m working on it — it will reflect my personal style.’

Ah-may-zing! We had an inkling that something was on the cards when she told Ryan Seacrest last month, 'I want to design. This is also a road that I want to earn it. So I’m working with designers. Designers that I respect, and [fashion] companies that I respect. I want people to really trust me before I just say ‘Buy it, because it’s mine.’' As if we’d pass up the chance to own a piece of Ri-Ri hotness?!
We’re eagerly anticipating what this songstress has up her sartorial sleeve – having partied recently with Stella McCartney and been seen wearing Acne, Religion, Topshop Unique and House of Holland, we’re hoping for a touch of the Brit vibe. Watch this space...
