Red wine

Red wine is an alcoholic beverage made from a black grape variety. In moderation, red wine is beneficial to health as it is a great source of antioxidants and is good for the heart. It is also said to lower cholesterol and have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as being a preventative of cardiovascular illnesses. However, too much alcohol can cause health problems such as liver damage, high blood pressure and kidney disease. One small glass of red wine per day is seen as within limits.
