Prince William Receives The Most Adorable Present For Newborn Princess Charlotte
It might be a while before HRH Princess Lottie can actually use this particular gift, mind…
It’s been nearly a month since the world caught a glimpse of newborn Princess Charlotte of Cambridge on the steps of the Lindo Wing.
And while Kensington Palace is yet to release an official photo of the royal baby girl, her daddy Prince William has been out and about since the May 2 birth – including playing a game or two of charity polo.
The Duke of Cambridge, 32, took part in the Audi Polo Challenge in Ascot this weekend alongside 30-year-old brother Prince Harry, with the Duke receiving the most adorable gift for daughter Charlotte after the match.
Wills looked a little hesitant as he accepted the present from Andre Konsbruck, Director of Audi UK, but he looked absolutely DELIGHTED once he’d opened it.
Because inside the gift box was a pair of pink Hunter wellies for his baby girl – and the fact he was pictured checking out the size on the bottom suggests he’s pretty keen for her to put them on.
It’s actually a very thoughtful present indeed as the Cambridge clan, including Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (nee Kate Middleton) and one-year-old Prince George, are currently residing at their Anmer Hall countryside residence in Norfolk.
However, there’s a little way to go until one-month-old Charlotte is able to wear her wellies as little ’uns don’t tend to walk unaided until they're between 9 and 18 months.
Her big brother, Prince George, started walking at 11-months-old – at the polo, no less - and an official picture of him taking some of his first steps was released by Kensington Palace to mark his first birthday, shortly after.
But aside from the fact HRH Princess Lottie won’t be able to wear her hot pink wellies until next year, there’s no denying they will be an absolute sell-out (as with everything Prince George has ever worn!)
So to get your hands on them before they go, they’re the Hunter Original Kids' First Classic Wellington Boots, £32 and are available from the brand’s website.
Our first little glimpse of the royal baby girl’s style! Whatever will she wear next?
