Pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge Recycles Her Old Maternity Wardrobe For Second Time This Week

The Duchess of Cambridge is turning into one thrifty pregnant lady. For the second time this week, she’s been out and about in an outfit that she wore while pregnant with George.

During a visit to Margate’s Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in Kent this morning, Kate wore the same Dalmatian-print Hobbs dress that she was spotted in when heavily pregnant with George.

There were a few differences with her accessories, however. This time round, Kate opted to forgo an elaborate hat and instead fastened her hair in a chic ponytail. She also chose to wear a black dress under her coat, whereas previously she wore a white one.

It’s reported that over 100 people gathered to catch a glimpse of the beloved royal as she entered the gallery.

This isn’t the first maternity look Kate’s recycled during her second pregnancy.  Earlier this week, she was spotted in a powder pink Alexander McQueen coat dress at the Commonwealth Day Observance service at Westminster Abbey.

Kate previously wore the coat, which features pearl buttons and a Peter Pan collar, at the Trooping the Colour ceremony back in 2013, for her last public appearance before George was born.

With just weeks to go until the arrival of her second child, Kate’s bump is looking a lot more pronounced. But despite the advanced stage of her pregnancy she’s still stubbornly wearing high heels.

Fortunately, she doesn’t appear to be suffering from swollen feet or ankles like a lot of heavily pregnant women or else she may have to resign herself to wearing flip flops. Now that would be a good photo.

The Duchess has a couple more public appearances to make before she goes on her well-deserved maternity leave. Her baby is reported to be due in April, although the exact date hasn’t yet been announced.
