Pippa Middleton uses her turn in the spotlight to wear a Fashion Targets Breast Cancer dress by Tabitha Webb for Waitrose party

Kate Middleton's sister wows in pastel blossom dress for a very worthwhile cause at star-studded Waitrose Summer Party

Pippa Middleton racks up almost as many column inches as her sister Kate when it comes to her fashion choices.

So we're pleased to see the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister used her turn in the spotlight to give a worthwhile cause some of the attention last night.

The 29-year-old was the star guest at the Waitrose Summer Party - held at London's Natural History Museum - braving the chilly evening air in a pretty pastel floral dress by Tabitha Webb.

Far from being just another designer dress, Pippa's peach lace creation is actually an exclusive dress designed to raise money for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

Named the 'Sundance' dress, the peach sleeveless creation features a delicate white blossom print, with a nipped-in waist and lace panelling at the sleeves and the waist.

Asymetric lace panels at the waist help create the illusion of an even smaller waistline, with a slightly tiered hemline balancing out the look.

Ensuring the dress was the focus of her look, Pippa teamed it with beige pointed courts, a nude clutch and tights as she arrived at the event with her brother James.

With proceeds from the £285 dress going towards Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Pippa had every right to be in fine spirits as she mingled with the other guests at the party.

Posing for pictures with the likes of Phillip Schofield, Gizzi Erskine and Made In Chelsea stars Cheska Hull and Jamie Laing, Pippa didn't seem at all fazed by all the attention she was getting.

And, judging by designer Tabitha Webb's description of the Sundance dress, Pippa picked the perfect occasion for it too - as Tabitha has previously said "it can easily take you from day to night."

Speaking about the dress design, she said: "We wanted a dress that could carry a signature print and would be perfect for all the fabulous summer events and easily take you from day to night.

"The little structures shoulders a sporty feel to the silhouette and is very signature of the Tabitha Webb design ethic."

She added to my-wardrobe: "It also suits any age and can be easily dressed up or down."
