It's no secret that the Middletons like to keep things in the family. The Duchess of Cambridge and her Royal Hotness sister have been spotted in the same Katherine Hooker coat, Whistles jacket and and let's not forget Mrs Middleton has got in on the clothes-swapping act too. Then, this weekend, Pippa was snapped attending (another) wedding of friends from her Edinburgh university days wearing a ladylike red dress that looks rather familiar...
Yup, this is the red version of that infamous dress Kate Middleton wore for the announcement of her engagement to Prince William. The Issa frock, which Kate debuted back in November 2010, retailed at £475 and became an overnight sensation, selling out almost instantly and inspiring a zillion high-street copies.
Pippa styled up the wrap-around dress with a black fascinator covered in frothy corsages, a chic envelope clutch and very Middy-esque black heels to make it her own and opted for a striking ruby tone while Kate went sapphire blue to match her engagement ring. Aw, isn't it heart-warming to see the sisters, who are notoriously close pals, sharing style tips?
