Personal Trainer Reveals He Drinks Breast Milk To Bulk Up

It’s an expensive habit – and not one that’s to everyone’s taste…

Drinking breast milk to bulk up isn’t a new fitness fad – but it’s not often that the people who do it talk so openly about their experience. Enter, Danny Davidson.

The personal trainer reveals he’s been guzzling a pint of the white stuff each week, in an effort to bulk up. And he reckons it’s like taking steroids.

The 31-year-old, from Watford, swears that breast milk is a brilliant supplement and thinks it could be the reason he’s managed to get such a muscly physique.

But while drinking breast milk could make a lot of adults shudder, Davidson’s reason behind doing it is a good one.

“There are lots of natural growth hormones in it and I would much rather drink that than inject myself,” her told the Mirror Online.

He explains that men at the gym he goes to recommended it and he was “so desperate to build muscle” that her went for it.

But it’s not an affordable habit. Davidson gets his stash from a group of mums who he knows and pays £2 an ounce for the pleasure. So the pint of it he gets through a week costs him £20 a week – working out to be 40 times the price of a pink of milk. Yikes.

He even jokes that he wishes his 30-year-old girlfriend would get pregnant so he could drink her supply free.

“I personally feel a lot better for drinking it,” he says – despite admitting he doesn’t like the “dense and bitter” taste.

However, Davidson doesn’t know for certain that it’s the breast milk that has helped him build muscle.

“I have grown muscles over the past five years, but I can’t prove whether that’s down to the breast milk or protein supplements and my workout routine.”

There are a fair amount of websites and private sellers who sell breast milk, but there’s a concern over the amount of women selling unscreened breast milk that could carry all sorts of things. Only The Breast is a classified website where you can buy screened milk from women who’ve posted ads.

It’s not just fitness nuts who knock back breast milk – it’s got a number of weird and wacky uses.

Some mums claim they’ve used their breast milk to treat their baby’s conjunctivitis, as well as other eye and ear infections, and it’s often used as a natural antiseptic to heal cuts and scrapes.

You can even find it in ice cream and other dairy products, as a cow’s milk substitute – but don’t worry, this will be clearly stated on the packaging so you’ll know if you’re consuming it!
