Oh, how we love Victoria Beckham’s twitter feed for the sneak peek it gives us into her life. ‘It’s been a really interesting experience,’ the fashion designer said of her twitter feed to WWD yesterday. ‘I try to give some personal insights to my followers as well as keeping them abreast of the business. I also think that my fans and customers really get to know me and my sense of humour through my tweets. I think people see the real me.’
Victoria Beckham has been so inspired by social media that now the fashionista has launched another media platform: her facebook page. ‘Facebook is definitely more brand focused although I hope to be able to bring my personality to the page.’ You can see what she means. Along with images of the latest A-listers wearing VB dresses (hello, Emily Blunt on Ellen) there are candid pictures of her sitting room full of balloons and flowers for her birthday.
So can we expect an iPad application next? Victoria’s certainly into her device. ‘I must say I do like using style apps on my iPad and I also like to shop online. I love Net-a-porter in particular. Being a working mum with four children having the ability to shop online is wonderful,’ she said of her favourite apps.
Let’s hope Victoria’s been stocking up for her upcoming trip to China. The star revealed – again on her facebook site – that she’s in the country this weekend launching her special edition Range Rover Evoque. Victoria, we’ll be watching!
