Paris Fashion Week 2013: Everything you need to know

PFW: Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent just some of the shows rounding up the AW13 ready-to-wear calendar

Paris Fashion Week kicks off today, concluding the AW13 ready-to-wear runway season.

The final of the ‘Big Four’ fashion weeks, it follows New York, London and Milan that took place earlier this month.

A-List designer Anthony Vaccarello, whose thigh-split dress have been worn on celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, will present his AW13 collection in Paris today.

New shows this season include high-street retailer H&M – off the schedule on Wednesday – and Alexander Wang’s debut collection as Creative Director of Balenciaga on Thursday.

Expect figure-hugging, Oscar-worthy dresses from Roland Mouret on Friday and then Raf Simons reveals his next collection for Christian Dior later that day.

It’s a busy day for fashionistas on Sunday, with Celine, Chloe, John Galliano and Givenchy all revealing their AW13 pieces.

Expect a bright, uplifting collection from Stella McCartney on Monday – followed by Hedi Slimane’s second range for Saint Laurent that evening.

But with Chanel, Valentino and a presentation from Alexander McQueen on Tuesday, expect celebs aplenty on the FROW that day.

Can we expect more lust-worthy gowns from Raf Simons' Dior collection? © GettyCreative Director of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, will no doubt present more quirky fashion on the last day and expect Taylor Swift on the FROW of one of the final shows, Elie Saab.
