Catherine Zeta Jones turned heads for all the wrong reasons on the Oscars 2013 red carpet tonight.
The 43-year-old stepped out at the 85th Academy Awards with her stunning natural features entirely hidden by too much foundation and face powder.
While most stars have been showcasing the red carpet beauty trend for natural, flawless skin of late, the Welsh star had done quite the opposite when it came to her look.
The resulting look meant Catherine, whose natural beauty could outshine most younger Hollywood actresses, was caked in foundation - which looked uncomfortably creased when she smiled.
Luckily for the star all was not lost as the natural, subtle effects used on her eyes, cheeks and lips highlighted her naturally-beautiful features.
With carefully-arched eyebrows, a bronzed effect was given to the corners of her eyes and on her cheeks, with a nude, light pink silken lip.
Catherine Zeta Jones, who arrived at tonight's Oscars ceremony on the arm of her husband and Hollywood acting legend Michael Douglas, appeared to have been inspired by the Oscar statuette with her fashion.
The star showcased a golden fishtail gown on the red carpet, which may have divided critics on the night, but showed off her enviable curves to perfection.
There were a whole host of top beauty lists being showcased tonight, with the likes of Heidi Klum, Amy Adams and Salma Hayek leading the way.
Supermodel Heidi followed in Jennifer Lawrence's footsteps with her slicked-back tresses, while Amy Adams opted for a classic updo in her trademark style.
Beauty Salma Hayek showcased a highly-piled beehive with a smokey eye, which worked perfectly with her high-necked gold and black dress.
