NYFW: With AW13 runway shows kicking off in the Big Apple today, we reveal what we’re most excited about

New York Fashion Week signals the start of the autumn / winter 2013 ready-to-wear runway collections.

With Victoria Beckham tweeting her excitement that she’s jetting Stateside to view the shows, we reveal what to expect when it kicks off today.

Expect fashion journalists, buyers and well-heeled celebrities sitting front row as they view the latest AW13 collections straight from the showroom.

Trend wise, we can expect similar styles to that of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, with lace, cut-outs, stripes and embellishment set to feature heavily on autumn / winter collections.

Tommy Hilfiger will no doubt bring his preppy style to the catwalk while we’re expecting more leather and sequins from Belgian-born Von Furstenberg.

Former celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe will also be showcasing her AW13 collection at New York Fashion Week as will Donna Karan’s DKNY label.
