New Mum Blake Lively Makes Her Post-Baby Comeback At NYFW – With An Incredibly Flat Stomach

Blake Lively is the latest in a long (and ever so slightly depressing) line of celeb mums to snap back to her pre-pregnancy figure in no time at all.

In fact, having given birth just two months ago, the former Gossip Girl star has to be one of the quickest famous mamas to say hello to a flat tum again.

Was she ever even pregnant? Her bump, and incredible maternity style, seemed to come and go in the blink of an eye.

Blake, 27, showcased her new (or should we say old?) shape at the Gabriela Cadena New York Fashion Week show yesterday and needless to say the mum-of-one blew us away with her spot-on style.

She opted to flaunt her frame in a figure-hugging Gabriela Cadena bodycon dress, cleverly designed to accentuate her tiny waist, enviable bust and slender pins.

The dress left nothing to the imagination and clung to every inch of her body – showing just how quickly she’s shed her baby weight.

Blake added a pop of colour to the otherwise entirely monochrome look with a yellow rounded clutch.

The actress, and founder of lifestyle website Preserve, stayed slim and toned throughout her pregnancy, appearing to only put on weight around her middle. Blake hasn’t given any clue as to how she lost the weight so quickly – she is very naturally svelte so perhaps the pounds simply fell off.

Fellow new mums Mila Kunis and Scarlett Johansson claim breastfeeding helped them reclaim their pre-baby bodies – maybe it worked for Blake, too. We just hope that however she went about it she did so responsibly as crash dieting and over exercising after giving birth can be very demanding and dangerous on the body.

Blake welcomed her baby girl just before Christmas, but she and hubby Ryan Reynolds are yet to confirm their daughter’s name.

At first it was thought she’s called Violet, but Ryan quickly squashed those rumours, saying, “I don’t know where that came from.”

The latest is that baby Lively-Reynolds could have been given the name James. It’s obviously a traditionally male name but then again Blake’s name is usually given to boys, too.

Neither parent has confirmed that the gender-neutral name is actually what their daughter is called, so we’ll have to wait on that.
