Live In Christian Grey's Apartment (for A Tiny Fraction Of His Fortune)

An apartment in the building made famous by Fifty Shades of Grey is on Airbnb for a fraction of the cost the billionaire pays to live there

Fancy living Anastacia Steele's  highlife made so desirable by Christian Grey's wealthy freedom in Fifty Shades of Grey?

Well now you can enjoy how the other half live for just a few hundred pounds (plus a trip to Seattle), by staying in the Escala - the famous apartment block where Mr Grey lives - without paying the eye watering million dollars it costs to buy a one-bedroom home there.

The apartment is listed on homesharing website Airbnb for a mere £170 a night - around the same, or less, than any decent hotel. Though for this you get to enjoy a private living experience, complete with the high end amenities in the building including private parking (so you might want to think about hiring an Audi R8) and the gym.

A spokesman for Airbnb said: "Fifty Shades fantasies made true - fans can now stay at Christian Grey’s luxury Seattle apartment though Airbnb.

"For those people who are lucky enough to bag a night, they’ll have access to the building’s bar and gym as well as their own private roof terrace and balcony. The only thing that they won’t be able to find is the red room, that really is stuff of fiction.”

Yes, sadly you'll have to make do with the bedroom for that. Or perhaps the elevator.

Connie, the Airbnb'er who's listed the building describes it as: "1 bedroom, 1.5 baths, 958 sq feet of Luxury. See why this is the sexiest building in the city, from lux accomodations to the most beautiful amenities, you'll see why its the most desirable building to live in in Seattle."

We're not sure where the one and a half baths comes in, but the building is amazingly situated in the centre of town and boasts balconies with incredible views, a bar area and even a private cinema.

It's not quite as cheap as £170 though - there's a minimum stay of three nights, costing £510 plus the cleaning at £61 equalling a grand total of £571. And you'll need to eat out or feed yourselves, Mrs Jones won't be on hand to cater for your ever whim.

But rather less than Christian Grey shelled out for his experience, at any rate!
