Kristen Stewart's edgy, tomboy-style style has been celebrated in a new look photoshoot.
The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn actress has ditched the ironed-out tresses and super-glam couture looks we usually see on high-fashion shoots and gone for something entirely different.
In a series of vampish shots for the acclaimed V magazine, the 22-year-old is seen embracing the paired-back look she favours in real life.
Donning a sheer white racer-back vest with a triangle-black bra underneath and belted black jeans, Kristen Stewart pulls a defiant stare as she poses for the camera.
Relaxing back on a chair, Robert Pattinson's beau covers half her face with, darewesay, greasy, tousled locks.
The star is seen on the fashion magazine's cover in a similar pose; with smudged, kohled eyes and a dewy complexion giving her the look that she just rolled out of bed in last night's make up.
Interesting, Kristen's V magazine cover - which is entitled 'The Cult of Kristen' - comes after a rollercoaster year for the star, where fans have seen her personal life splayed all over the tabloids.
And while she's moved on from 'that' fling with her Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, it seems her style sense has also evolved.
Kristen's latest photoshoot - donning Victoria Beckham and Cartier jewellery here - comes after a number of edgy, fashion-forward looks from the young star - perhaps indicating her stint in Twi-hards' bad books has led her to take a more decisive route with her style.
The actress had fashion critics sitting up and paying attention with the daring Zuhair Murad creations she donned for the Breaking Dawn publicity circuit; first flashing the flesh in a lace, beige cut-out gown and later showing off a rocker twist with a sheer black sequined jumpsuit.
And taking more risks - fashion wise and perhaps in her career - sounds like it's top of Kristen's agenda for 2013.
In the accompanying interview, Kristen told V magazine: "I have gotten quite comfortable with being unafraid.
"I keep saying the same thing, it's not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them."
