The Keeping up with the Kardashians star reveals which of her dresses from the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy she would like the Duchess of Cambridge to wear
It seems the Kate Middleton effect is a global phenomenon and not just here in the UK.
Khloe Kardashian has revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge wearing one of her designs would be the biggest honour as she is idolised over in the States.
“In the US, she is idolised so it would be an honour,” Khloe told Yahoo Lifestyle UK.
“She makes anything look phenomenal and so luxe. It’s crazy because it could be so simple and it looks so sophisticated on her.”
The 29-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star told us that she’d love to see Kate in one of her designs from the Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy.
“She does wear a lot of lace and we have lace pieces so I could see her in one of our lace sweetheart dresses, she’d look beautiful. She’s a fashion icon for sure,” said Khloe.
The youngest Kardashian also admitted how much she her and her sisters – Kourtney, 34, and Kim, 33, – contributed to the design element of the collection.
“My sisters and I are involved in everything from the very start, from the mood boards to the fit to the colour fabrications to the final fit of everything. Nothing gets through if we don’t approve it,” said Khloe.
But it seems not even A-Listers like the Kardashians are exempt from the odd wardrobe malfunction as she revealed her worst ever outfit disaster to us.
Khloe was accused of staging her own wardrobe malfunction when she had a nip-slip on live TV but she revealed she had no idea it was happening at the time.
“The one that stands out the most but that didn’t bother me, I was doing a sit-down interview on live TV and my top was sheer on the sides and solid [in the middle] and the top shifted when I sat down so I had a nip-slip when I sat down,” said Khloe.
“I didn’t realise because I was talking and it’s live TV but my publicist is in the back waving and I’m like ‘you’re distracting me, it’s live TV, stop waving!’
“I didn’t know what she was doing and later it was all over the news. I was like ‘I don’t care, it’s a nipple, get over it.’ It wasn’t out, it was just sheer. I was like ‘everyone calm down!’”
