Kelp

Kelp is a form of seaweed which naturally contains minerals including iodine, iron, potassium, magnesium and calcium. As a rich source of iodine, kelp is often used to help maintain normal thyroid function. As iodine cannot be stored by the body it must be obtained regularly through diet. Kelp can be taken in supplement form or incorporated into the diet in soups, noodle recipes or even turned into crisps.
