Kelly Osbourne’s transformation into a svelte fashionista has been well-documented in the last year.
Yet the E! Fashion Police star has revealed that her dramatic weight loss wasn’t what made her feel happier – in fact it was the other way around.
In a new interview, Kelly Osbourne has spoken out about the “life change” that led her to get on a healthy living diet and turn her life around.
“People think I lost weight and then got happy, but that’s not how it works,” she told InTouch magazine.
“You have to get happy first.”
The 28-year-old said her shifting the pounds was a bonus of her making changes in her life and now she makes sure to stick to her fitness regime to stay in such good shape.
“I made a life change, and the weight loss was an amazing perk,” she explained.
Talking through her fitness regime, Kelly revealed she aims to hit the gym five days a week if she can.
“I do up to half an hour of cardio, and I also do circuit training, yoga or Pilates – I mix it up.”
But does she have days off like the rest of us?
“I do cheat. I have one cheat day a week where I eat whatever the f**k I want," she laughed.
Kelly added that it's vital to allow yourself cheat days or you'll never be happy.
“Never deprive yourself or anything, because then you get angry about it," she said.
“People who are hungry are miserable."
