Kelly Brook Displays Her Incredible Weight Loss On The Red Carpet: Her Diet And Exercise Secrets

She turned her back on modelling to carve out a successful career for herself in Hollywood.

And it looks like the LA lifestyle certainly suits Kelly Brook as she flaunted her incredible weight-loss on the red carpet last night.

The 35-year-old former glamour model looked slimmer than ever as she displayed her enviable hourglass figure in a patterned, fit-and-flare Opening Ceremony dress.

Styling her brunette locks into centre-parting waves and channelling a more natural beauty look, we don’t think we’ve ever seen Kel look so radiant.

Healthy Diet



The Brit-born actress has been documenting her weight loss on Instagram after embarking on the Atkins diet in January.

She revealed that she’s lost three inches around her waist already - although she insists she’ll keep her ‘kurves.’

The Atkins plan consists of a high-protein, low-carb, low-sugar diet, so Kel has been tucking into plenty of chicken and fish as well as tons of leafy veg and healthy fats.

Gym Bunny



But it’s not just her diet that’s helping her shift the pounds as she’s been hitting the gym and upping her workouts too.

Since moving to LA to work on the NBC show ‘One Big Happy,’ she’s been pictured at Barry’s Bootcamp, protein shake in hand, as well as attending Pilates classes.

She’s also been shaking up her routine by training in Wushu (a type of martial arts) as she posting a video of her punching and kicking pads on Instagram, as well as trying out new moves at the gym with her trainer.

Kelly – who found fame as a glamour model in her native England – admits she is loving the healthy, California lifestyle (and the year-round sunshine probably helps!)

“I’ve got these big boobs and this big bum and [my friends] were worried that I might go Hollywood,” she told Madison.com.

“The California lifestyle, though, is brilliant. I go to the beach, I work out, I don’t eat carbs.”


Atkins Fans

She’s not the only star to adopt the Atkins plan in a bid to lose weight, as reality star Kim Kardashian did the same after giving birth to daughter North West.  

The 34-year-old embarked on a high-protein, low-carb diet (even ditching her beloved glass of red) to shift the pounds.

“She doesn't really drink [alcohol], but she likes a glass of red wine with dinner and coffee in the morning but her Atkins mania won't allow her those anymore. She won't even have a sip,” said a source about Kim's post-baby diet.

But like Kelly, the mum-of-one also worked out regularly to lose weight the healthy way, including Barry’s Bootcamp and Pilates (we see a pattern emerging here…)

“As you get older and your body changes, you just can't eat the way you used to,” Kim told E! Online.

“So I'm training myself, and I work out. I love Pilates. I love running. Now that we're on the road, just any gym in any hotel, I just go for it.”
