Katie Hopkins divides the nation AGAIN with obese kids rant

Former Apprentice contestant polarizes opinion after saying parents that don’t tell their kids they’re fat are ‘as bad as the playground bullies’

She’s at it again.

Katie Hopkins has divided the nation with her latest rant, saying that parents that don’t tell their kids they’re fat are as bad as ‘playground bullies.’

The former Apprentice star polarized opinion after appearing on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield again this week.

The 38-year-old former reality star argued against the pair – and journalist Sonia Poulton - saying the parents of a fat child are to blame for the failure.

At one point, the controversial mum-of-three laid into fellow mum Holly, telling her that she’s ‘a soft kind of parent that really needs to realise there are children that are fat.’

Social networking sites were awash with comments after her latest outburst - but once again she’s divided critics with her no holds barred views.

‘How someone hasn't slapped Katie Hopkins yet is beyond me,’ wrote one user.

‘The fact @KTHopkins is allowed to be on tv is ridiculous. Ignorant views from a zlist "celebrity" who's famous for failing on apprentice [sic],’ said another.

But you only have to look at Katie’s Twitter timeline to see people who are defending the loudmouth star.

‘Oh I wish I could disagree but I just can't! 'Behind every fat child is a fat mum who should take responsibility' so damn true! [sic]’ wrote one user.

‘I'd genuinely love to have @KTHopkins as a mother, she's honest and blunt. Not a bad mother!’ said another.
