The Duke And Duchess Of Cambride Take Princess Charlotte To Norfolk

And in their wake - the Cambridge effect takes hold

Royal duties done, meet-and-greets with the Queen and the Prince of Wales over, it's time for Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge to retire to the country to get to know her parents and brother and prepare for her next public appearance.

The royal family were seen leaving London in a black Range Rover, heading to their Norfolk home where they're expected to stay out of the public eye for the first few months of Charlotte's life.

William is on paternity leave for two weeks, but will head back for the final phase of his air ambulence helicopter training in June.

The Prince was seen driving the Range Rover, with his wife in the passenger seat and presumably the two little ones safely tucked up in their car seats in the back.

The family has had a busy few days showing off their little Princess to her relatives on both sides, and will no doubt be glad of the rest. Kate must be exhausted, having been on the go ever since Sunday - managing to show off her daughter to the waiting crowds just a few hours after giving birth to her. And looking incredible in the process.

And the Kate (and George) effect is in full swing, with yellow dresses and blue cardigans flying off the shelves as people rush to recreate the Cambridges' style.

Kate looked radiant as she showed off her daughter on the steps of the Lindo Wing, wearing a yellow Jenny Packham dress and nude heels.

And since her appearence, the says of yellow floral dresses on Ebay have gone up by 53 per cent, and nude heels by a whopping 94.6 per cent.

Little Prince George, who made his first public appearance in several months, is also a true trend-setter these days. He looked adorable as his father brought him to the hospital to be introduced to his new baby sister. The cute blue knitted cardigan is set to be a staple of the summer for tots, as sales went up by a crazy 128 per cent.

The countdown to the Christening is on!
