Kate Middleton wows in pastel Emilia Wickstead dress

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her baby bump in powder blue frock at the National Portrait Gallery in London

Pregnant Kate Middleton wowed the crowds at the opening of the Art Room charity at the National Portrait Gallery in London last night.

The Duchess of Cambridge showcased one of her first proper maternity looks as she dressed her baby bump in a powder blue Emilia Wickstead frock for the occasion.

The Duchess styled the look with a pair of grey suede court shoes and diamond earrings as fans gathered to watch her make the entrance into the venue in the capital.

Kate looked breathtaking with her brunette locks tied into a half-up, half-down style which allowed fans to catch a glimpse of her stunning make-up look.

Diamond drop earrings and her wedding rings completed her fashion-forward, spring look.

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her baby pump in the powder blue frock [Rex]She was criticised recently for her floral Erdem look, which was labelled by some experts as ‘frumpy.’

And many people have wondered when the pregnant Duchess would begin to start showing her baby bump, as at six months down the line she has yet to truly show.

But her appearance at the National Portrait Gallery silenced the critics, as her frock was both flattering and stylish.
