Kate Middleton And Prince William Spotted At King’s Cross Station Without Son Prince George After Norfolk Break

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pictured arriving in London after catching a train from King’s Lynn with dog Lupo

They looked like any regular couple as they passed through the hordes of commuters.

But the only thing separating Kate Middleton and Prince William from regular folk at King’s Cross station this weekend was their entourage of royal protection offers.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 32, were pictured after arriving back in the capital on a train from King’s Lynn in Norfolk.

The royal couple left son Prince George at home – he was reportedly at Kensington Palace with Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo – but they brought along their cocker spaniel Lupo for the journey.

The pair were dressed casually for the train into London, with Catherine wearing an olive green Barbour jacket, skinny jeans, baseball cap and trainers, with an oversized sand-coloured weekend bag.

Prince William – second in line to the throne – sported a white shirt, loose jeans, baseball cap and Asics trainers.

Kate and Wills have been spending time at their new home, Anmer Hall on the grounds of Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which is a 20-minute drive from King’s Lynn station.

They’ve been overseeing renovations on the property, which is currently undergoing a £1.5 million refurbishment.

The Cambridge family will soon be making Anmer Hall their permanent base when Prince William starts his new job as a pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

They’ve been spending their summer holidays in Scotland with son Prince George, visiting Prince Charles and Camilla in Birkhall, before taking the one-year-old to see the Queen and husband Prince Philip at Balmoral.

But while Prince George can rest his feet following a busy month visiting his royal relatives, Kate and Wills have something of a jam-packed schedule in September.

The royal couple will make their first public appearance of autumn at the University of Oxford on September 8, when they will officially open The Dickson Poon University of Oxford China Centre Building.

Prince Harry’s 30th birthday follows soon after, with Kate’s sister Pippa supposedly planning the party prince’s birthday bash on September 15.

The Duchess of Cambridge will then embark on her first ever solo overseas visit, when she flies to Malta on an official royal engagement on September 20.

No wonder they were rushing through the station!
