Jogger’s nipple

This is the condition caused by the friction of clothing against the delicate skin of the nipples, which results in soreness, inflammation and bleeding. This is a common problem among long distance runners, those who exercise in coarse fabrics such as cotton or women who exercise without a bra. To avoid jogger’s nipple, wear softer fabrics and loose fitting garments, but creams, gels and tape are also available to protect the nipple from rubbing against clothing.
