Jennifer Lawrence's Oscars fall spoofed in Tumblr Christian Dior ad

The moment the Oscar winning Silver Linings Playbook best actress tripped on her way to the stage immortalised by fan goes viral

Jennifer Lawrence may want to forget forever the Oscars 2013 moment she tripped up on the way to collect her Best Actress award - but the internet never forgets.

A Tumblr user has immortalised the Silver Linings Playbook actress's fall forever by creating a fake Dior ad from a clip during the Oscars coverage, picturing Jennifer in her gorgeous Dior gown, momentarily crouched on the stairs, head in hand. And of course, it's gone viral. The new advert for Christian Dior? Nope, just a spoof. ©i-nsan/Tumblr

Jennifer impressed the fashion critics at the ceremony, wearing a pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown. The face of the SS13 Miss Dior handbag, looked stunning in the strapless gown with huge fishtail skirt.

The 22-year-old actress accidentally tripped on her way up to collect the award for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Playing it cool she referenced the fall when she reached the microphone, easing the awkwardness.

The spoof advert has been created by freeze-framing the clip the moment she fell, conveniently showcasing the beautiful gown and looking remarkably like a whimsical fashion advert.

The doctored image may just prove more popular than the official Dior adverts made with Jennifer Lawrence, which appear so photoshopped it's hard to identify the actress at all.

After seeing her campaign shots for the Miss Dior bag for the first time at a red carpet events, Jennifer admitted they were somewhat digitally altered.Spot the difference - The fake Dior ad (left) compared to Jennifer's new campaign (right)
