Interval training

Interval training is the exercise method of working at a high intensity for a set time, followed by working at a low intensity, which is repeated in sets. This aims to increase endurance at a given exercise and burn more calories. The low intensity portions of the exercise, known as rest periods, maintain the same exercise but at a slower pace. The important feature of interval training is that you don’t stop exercising at any point –the activity is maintained for the duration of all the sets.
