Sharing her fashion and beauty expertise the style maven told us her top fashion tips for confidence regardless of what shape or size you are.
Louise Roe’s top 5 style tips to boost your confidence
1. Invest in a pencil skirt
“I’m a big supporter of the pencil skirt. If you can get one that is high-waisted it’ll emphasise your curves and hide your tummy.”
2. Choose bright colours
“I’m such an advocate of wearing bright colours it lifts up your mood. Go for really warm colours for the autumn, most people’s complexions suit emerald green, burgundy, deep purple and you can’t really go wrong.”
“A wide brimmed hat is the easiest way to make your outfit pop. A lot of girls are afraid of wearing hats but you could be wearing converse, jeans and a jumper but if you add a fedora or wide-brimmed hat suddenly you can look really stylish.”
4. Take inspiration from a stylish decade
“I am really fond of the 70s era. I think that women were really elegant and sexy without showing lots of skin”.
“My favourite pieces from the 70s are high waist trousers like Charlie’s Angels-style, tailored to make your legs look really long and a wide-brimmed hat, big sunglasses.”
5. Mix high street and high end
“I like the way Rosie Huntington-Whiteley puts an outfit together, mixing how-low fashion she will wear some battered cowboy boots and jeans with a Chanel bag and amazing leather jacket. I love that kind of look.”
