Hilaria Baldwin Takes To Instagram To Prove She Didn’t Have A C-Section

Is it anyone’s business but hers?

Since welcoming her second child with hubby Alec Baldwin last week, Hilaria has kept her social media followers updated on her family’s antics with lovely family pics.

But yesterday, the US yoga guru took to her Instagram account to share a snapshot with a different message.

Hilaria posted a photo of her post-birth baby bump, not to show off her post-pregnancy figure, but to prove that she didn’t have a C-section.

The mum of two uploaded the pic with a lengthy caption, apologising for the "weird post" but writing that she felt the need to clear up some "pretty serious arguments" about whether or not she had a caesarean section.

1) I apologize for the weird post and I want to say I am grateful for all the concern I have read on my photo comments. I know they are coming from a good place.

2) This is for those of you who are getting into some pretty serious arguments with each other about if I had a c section or not...this should clear it up: as you can see from this pic, I did not have a c section.

3) The other question has been speculation as to why I stayed in the hospital a few days. Rafael came a little early (nothing extreme) so we just wanted to stay an extra night and make sure all is ok. Due dates are estimates and he came out a healthy weight. I'm actually lucky because given another few weeks, he would have been HUGE!

4) We are overjoyed that we have a healthy little boy and also that I am feeling well. I can never repay my doctor and the nurses who cared for Rafa and me. I'm eternally grateful.

The photo has had mixed responses, from some fans commenting that if she had of had a C-section, her scar would be a good few inches lower (where the top of her trousers sit) while others wrote that she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone.

Since Rafael’s birth, Hilaria’s made headlines after posting photos of her post-birth body. The 30-year-old mum posted her first selfie two days after giving birth, to prove that she’s got no shame about her shape. But with a figure like that, why would she?

The yoga instructor, who would probably look incredible in a bin bag, wrote, “I have been planning on doing post belly photos but didn't know if I was gonna have the guts to actually follow through. I hope you understand my intention here: I believe it is important to accept and love our form after going through a bit of a battle bringing life into this world. Deep breath, here we go...all the way from my glamorous hospital bathroom.”

The majority of her fans praised her for documenting her journey, but the pic led fans to debate whether she’d had a caesarean or not – hence the C-section clear up snapshot.
