There's no doubting Helen Flanagan likes to get dolled up now and then - especially before a big public appearance - but things took a turn for the, erm, more garish this week as she stepped out at a PETA photocall.
Aside from her near nip-slip in a plunging top, the former I'm A Celeb star scrapped back her pony a little too tightly, revealing a set of suspect extensions.
Tatiana Karelina, hair extension guru and owner of Tatiana Hair Extensions gives us her expert take on Helen's look...
"Hair extensions, when done properly, can give amazing results, if blended with the natural hair and styled accordingly you shouldn't be able to tell when someone has extensions. By seeing how tight the hair is being pulled into the style, [Helen's] extensions are exposed and have no care for her natural hair, this pulling, in some cases can leave the follicles and your own hair damaged beyond repair.
"I believe the first issue is with the placement of extensions not just for the purpose of disguise, but also for safety reasons. She seems to have extensions applied right onto the hairline on the fine, baby hair. These hairs are generally the most fragile and can be easily pulled out - no weight should be applied on those hairs."
On avoiding similar faux pas, Tatiana says, "When styling with extensions you have to be considerate of the pull on the natural hair, these extensions are unnaturally pulling Helen's hair into the high pony tail style."
Right then, got all that extensions fans?
