Frankie Bridge On Her Second Pregnancy And Baby Name Dilemma: ‘It Doesn’t Feel Real Yet’

The singer has revealed that she hasn’t quite got to grips with the fact that she’s expecting a second child

The transition from being a mum of one to a mum of two is pretty huge – and is a change that The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge isn’t quite used to yet.

The singer, who’s around three months pregnant with second child with footballer husband Wayne, has admitted she’s turned to her fellow bandmate Una Foden for advice.

But considering Una’s only just given birth to her second bub, Tadhg, she probably doesn’t have many pearls of wisdom to dish out just out.

“When I see Una and her new little one, I think it might bring it home that I’ve got number two on the way, but it doesn’t feel that real yet,” Frankie wrote in her column for OK! magazine.

The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant also admitted that she’s struggling with picking out a name for baby Bridge number two – but isn’t worried.

“I haven’t got any names for our own new arrival yet,” she wrote. “I tried but gave up! We didn’t choose Parker until quite late, so I’m not stressing. “

Despite only being around 12 weeks pregnant, the world’s known about Frankie’s pregnancy since early January because, like the Duchess of Cambridge, she’s been suffering with acute morning sickness. The condition was so severe that she was forced to pull out of the Strictly tour – and had to subsequently announce her baby news.

“As you read this, I’ll have just had my 12-week scan and that’s when they look more like a proper baby,” Frankie wrote.

“You can see the hands and feet, and you get that sense of relief that you’re at three months.”

The star says her son, Parker, will make “a wonderful big brother” and that she and Wayne “couldn’t be happier” about their impending news.
