Fifty Shades of Grey board game released just in time for Christmas

E.L.James' Fifty Shades phenomenon continues as a kinky board game goes on-sale today

The Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon is showing no signs of slowing down, as a new board game based on the erotic series has been released in time for Christmas.

Fifty Shades of Grey: Party Game encourages groups of friends to ask a series of increasingly naughty questions about each other, with players having to choose which one of their friends they most associate with the deed.

For anyone worried that the game could get as raunchy as the book need not fear, as the game is all about having fun with your clothes on.

But if players do want to make the game even sexier, they can buy the 'Red Room expansion pack' - a play on the fictional Christian Grey's 'playroom' in the E. L. James books - which is guaranteed to leave them blushing.

The game, produced by Imagination Games, has been approved by Fifty Shades' author E. L. James and hopes to bring some of that kinky fun into homes this year.

Boss Shane Yeend said: "We are delighted to be partnering with E L James on this project.

"The Fifty Shades books are a bona fide cultural phenomenon, and they offer an exciting new play pattern for our range of party games that allows everyone to finally reveal their Inner Goddess."

The trilogy took the literary world by storm this year, with more than 50 million copies worldwide.

The game will be available today from WH Smith and on Amazon.
