Duchess Of Cambridge Pregnancy Update: Could Kate’s Second Baby Arrive Sooner Than April?

Speculation’s rife that Kate due date is earlier than the world originally thought

Up until now, we’ve been under the belief that Kate’s due date is in April.

But rumours circling could suggest that royal baby number two may actually put in an appearance as soon as next month.

Despite Kensington Palace originally confirming the baby is due in April, rumours indicate that Kate may be due to give birth sooner than then.

We all thought Kate and Wills announced their baby news early (before the standard three month mark) on 8 September because the Duchess was once again suffering from pregnancy sickness Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG).

But it now looks like Kate could have already been further along in her pregnancy than she let on.

An artist has suggested that Kate was already ill with HG at the start of August, when she almost had to skip a public appointment he was involved in – which could mean she was already a month or two pregnant then.

Paul Cummins says the Duchess almost missed seeing his Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation at the Tower of London at the start of August because she was already suffering from the effects of HG.

“Kate was not going to come as, though it had not been announced, she was already pregnant and suffering,” Paul told The Sunday Times. “But she insisted. It was her last public outing for a while.”

Kate’s continued making a number of public appearances throughout her pregnancy, including visiting Portsmouth last week.

But while the Duchess’ bump looked relatively pronounced, we’re not sure she looked like she is already eight months gone.

Of course, bump size differs from pregnancy to pregnancy, but when Kate was eight months pregnant with George her bump was a lot more obvious.

Aside from the Duchess’ due date, it’s still not known whether she’s expecting a boy or girl – and we highly doubt we’ll find out if George is having a baby brother or sister until he or she arrives. And the baby’s name remains a mystery, too.

These high-flying couples do like to keep us all guessing…
